I love these of the boys together on our patio in India....first week.

Baby is covered in mosquito cream....at dusk just before bath time. Daddy makes calls to old friends letting them know we are finally HERE!!! This is the West side of the home and looks out on our main street bustling with action below, as well as the nearest mosque that wakes us with a call to prayer at 5. I think I have come to prefer the calls to prayer from the mosque over the craziness, the drums, the bells, the wild calls of the temple behind us towards the east of our home. The mosques calls are predictable---always the same pitch and you know it will have a nice ending. Whereas the parades for Mother Mary and all other idols can go on a whole night resembling something like pots and pans banging in your ear to this Westerner and you never really have an idea when--or What's coming!!
